Myrah Labs is an independent Indian AI research lab operating the following websites, all hosted on Microsoft Azure (Central India — Pune region):

Geolocation is derived from your IP using ip-api.com — a privacy-respecting free service. Your IP is not repeatedly sent to any third party; results are cached locally on our servers.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not use cookies for tracking or profiling
We do not collect your name, email, or phone number unless you contact us directly
We do not track you across other websites
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts
We do not build advertising profiles
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes

4. YouTube Content

Jyotish Visheshagya fetches video data from YouTube using the official YouTube Data API v3. Videos are displayed as links — YouTube content is not embedded directly on our pages. Clicking a YouTube link takes you to YouTube, which has its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Legal Basis (DPDPA 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we process your data on the basis of:

Legitimate interest — operating and improving a public AI research and search service, preventing abuse
Consent — by using our websites, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy

We process only the minimum data necessary and do not use it for any other purpose.

6. Data Security

All traffic encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3) on all four domains
Server access restricted by SSH key authentication only — no passwords
Firewall allowing only ports 80, 443, and 22
Automatic security updates enabled on all servers
IP addresses automatically anonymised after 30 days
No data transferred outside India — all servers in Azure Central India (Pune)

7. Your Rights

Under the DPDPA 2023, you have the right to:

Know what personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
Withdraw consent at any time
Nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf

To exercise these rights, email us at research@myrahlabs.com with your IP address (available at whatismyip.com) and your request. We will respond within 30 days.

Note: since IPs are anonymised after 30 days, we may not be able to identify specific records after that period.

8. Data Retention Summary

Full IP address: 30 days — then automatically shortened to subnet
Anonymised subnet (e.g. 103.21.xx.xx): 90 days
Search queries (no IP attached after 30 days): 90 days
All analytics data: deleted after 90 days

9. Cookies

Myrah Labs websites do not use cookies for tracking or analytics. No cookie consent banner is required. Your browser's own session cookies may be set for normal web functioning — these are not controlled by us.

10. Children's Privacy

Our websites are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at research@myrahlabs.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of our websites after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
